ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Abastas in the 11th minute. The corner led ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Joel Abastas to fire away a dangerous shot which Conrado Garikoitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Omar Erez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Garikoitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Julio Calvet fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kame Futbol Club's protests and gave Julio Calvet a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Calvet hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Kame Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when André Monclús came free, but Conrado Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kame Futbol Club's Conrado Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Erez in the 54th minute of play. Omar Erez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conrado Garikoitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Erez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Kame Futbol Club's goalkeeper Conrado Garikoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Erez. Kame Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Omar Erez scored to the left of an out of position Conrado Garikoitz, making the score, 1-4. In the 68th minute, Omar Erez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Garikoitz. The goal made the score 1-5. André Monclús had several of the Kame Futbol Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Conrado Garikoitz as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Kame Futbol Club's Conrado Garikoitz got control of the ball when Omar Erez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 78th minute of play forced Kame Futbol Club's goalkeeper Conrado Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, André Monclús quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Kame Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when André Monclús scored to the left of an out of position Conrado Garikoitz, making the score, 1-8. Uriel Chorche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Eduino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Kame Futbol Club's zone, Omar Erez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Garikoitz came out of the goal and Omar Erez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Garikoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Erez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When André Monclús came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Monclús couldn't finish the play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA played a much better game than Kame Futbol Club and deserved their victory. The Kame Futbol Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
