The referee ignored Reconquistense FC's protests and gave Serafin Harriet a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Reconquistense FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Harriet. Anacleto Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Club Almirante Brown were awarded a corner. Nicanor Ceandro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Club Almirante Brown's Nicanor Ceandro to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Pelagius despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Francisco Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Guido Bautista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Pelagius. The goal made the score 1-1. Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Abad in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Guido Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almirante Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Pelagius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Abad in the 47th minute of play forced Reconquistense FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pelagius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Madeo was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pacorro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Reconquistense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Abad came free, but Francisco Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Pelagius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Gines went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Bautista in the 92nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Almirante Brown had won after a very even match.
