Lorenzo Ribota might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Fondos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Ribota ran back to his position shaking his head. Beltran Garzon got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lucio Negrete. A collision led to Swift GTi FDC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Beltran Garzon hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Natanael Villayres threw the ball into play from the sideline. R.B Leipzig's Frank Ciraci quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 32 minutes, Aloisio Munet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.B Leipzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloisio Munet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Aloisio Munet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Fondos was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Aloisio Munet took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Fondos. Daniel Fondos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Natanael Villayres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swift GTi FDC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave R.B Leipzig the free kick. The supporters of R.B Leipzig booed when Swift GTi FDC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Villayres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Aloisio Munet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Fondos was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Ian Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Llantaron in the 45th minute of the match. The Swift GTi FDC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. R.B Leipzig were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloisio Munet to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Fondos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aloisio Munet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beltran Garzon in the 59th minute of play forced R.B Leipzig's goalkeeper Ian Grande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ilkay Gündoğan hit a great ball. Swift GTi FDC's Daniel Fondos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloisio Munet in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Swift GTi FDC defense, Aloisio Munet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Fondos. The Swift GTi FDC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Fondos should have stopped the shot. Aloisio Munet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Fondos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match R.B Leipzig got a corner. Swift GTi FDC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilkay Gündoğan ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on R.B Leipzig's corner Ilkay Gündoğan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Fondos quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th minute, Natanael Villayres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Swift GTi FDC's Daniel Fondos got control of the ball when Aloisio Munet tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Lorenzo Ribota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.B Leipzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Ribota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The R.B Leipzig supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing R.B Leipzig would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
