The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adolphus 徐文枫 sped through CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavinho Reis. A collision led to Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Santiago Leoncio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Ricart in the 10th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Adolphus 徐文枫 made a precise shot to the right of Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolphus 徐文枫 took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavinho Reis. Flavinho Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Danilo Mangueira hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolphus 徐文枫 in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavinho Reis saved CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting behind. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Serafino Florian was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavinho Reis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 33 minutes of play, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Adolphus 徐文枫 made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavinho Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the game, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Humberto Rossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Oton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. After having played for 44 minutes, Adolphus 徐文枫 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolphus 徐文枫 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴ made a substitution. Timo-Fabian Werner replaced Adolphus 徐文枫. If Timo-Fabian Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Timo-Fabian Werner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Florian fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 67th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Carlos Netto replaced Ernani Pernambucano. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Oséas Miranda was substituted for Bernardo de Carvalho. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo-Fabian Werner in the 73rd minute of the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo-Fabian Werner in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Sidney Vianna got a free kick in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Rossi came free, but Anibal Oton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis got control of the ball when Serafino Florian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timo-Fabian Werner took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavinho Reis. Flavinho Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5.
