Eric Gary made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match, Alfred Odachowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eric Gary was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Benet Amorebieta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eric Gary came out and tried to block the shot, but Benet Amorebieta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. If Benet Amorebieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benet Amorebieta in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Gary saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. Józef Wandzik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蔡伟洲, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dark Drinkers Sanok's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Čačak in the 21st minute of play. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Čačak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Józef Wandzik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Åkesson in the 26th minute of the match. Benet Amorebieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Gary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benet Amorebieta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 29th minute of the match. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡伟洲 in the 31st minute of play. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benet Amorebieta's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Eric Gary showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benet Amorebieta in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Dark Drinkers Sanok were awarded a corner. Nando Campidelis went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Vali Erbașu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benet Amorebieta's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Benet Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Eric Gary didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Drinkers Sanok. 47 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Olof Åkesson came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benet Amorebieta made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eric Gary didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benet Amorebieta went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benet Amorebieta in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gary prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 蔡伟洲. 68 minutes into the match, Dark Drinkers Sanok's goal looked a bit too open when 蔡伟洲 came free, but Józef Wandzik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡伟洲 in the 68th minute of play forced Dark Drinkers Sanok's goalkeeper Józef Wandzik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benet Amorebieta might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Gary. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benet Amorebieta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Benet Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gary saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benet Amorebieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Gary having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Benet Amorebieta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jagiellonia Denver's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
