An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Kaczynski in the 5th minute of play forced Phantasy World's goalkeeper Xiao Guang Han to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, José Maria Neiva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Edvin van der Saar. Edvin van der Saar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Edvin van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Neiva in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Wit Winnicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phantasy World the free kick. 26 minutes into the game, José Maria Neiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edvin van der Saar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xiao Guang Han showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wit Winnicki in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to GIOVANNI DZIADZIA getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Desiderio Constancio hit a great ball. Phantasy World's José Maria Neiva got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Phantasy World booed when GIOVANNI DZIADZIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Rydzewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin van der Saar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Phantasy World were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Maria Neiva made the kick off in the second half. Xiao Guang Han showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Kaczynski in the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Phantasy World's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Dembowski came free, but Xiao Guang Han reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Phantasy World's attentive Bálint Kormos managed to snatch the ball when Wieslaw Zakrzewski made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 60thth minute of the game José Maria Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GIOVANNI DZIADZIA's Edvin van der Saar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Wojciech Kaczynski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xiao Guang Han was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Tunç Belge made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dante Rafe. José Maria Neiva received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edvin van der Saar came out and tried to block the shot, but José Maria Neiva slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 67th minute. José Maria Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Edvin van der Saar made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Phantasy World's Zenon Nakonieczny got a free kick in the 75th minute. Phantasy World's Szczepan Bierfass was substituted for José Maria Neiva. After 76 played minutes Phantasy World got a freekick which was hit by Zenon Nakonieczny. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szczepan Bierfass in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvin van der Saar saved GIOVANNI DZIADZIA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Bierfass in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvin van der Saar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Phantasy World's Szczepan Bierfass fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Wojciech Kaczynski hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Wit Winnicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xiao Guang Han saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Phantasy World defense, Wit Winnicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xiao Guang Han. The Phantasy World fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xiao Guang Han should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Phantasy World had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
