The Shadows United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Björkdahl should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Lima came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Clodio in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lech Max's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dudu Lima was slow to take the kick. During this time Shadows United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Shadows United's Olaf Wisniewski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Shadows United's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gacki came free, but Kurt Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lech Max's Jan Gacki slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kurt Björkdahl. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. Kurt Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Gacki in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Erasmo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Vino was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Lech Max:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Shadows United:s goal. Shadows United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Lima in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Erasmo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shadows United's Kurt Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gacki in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Jan Gacki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Björkdahl. Shadows United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Gacki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jan Gacki made the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Dubilas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Clodio in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Kurt Björkdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shadows United's Damian Kasprzak was substituted for Olaf Wisniewski. Shadows United made a substitution. Everardo Benvido replaced Cyryl Skonieczny. After a rather tough play, Shadows United's Zdzislaw Kazanowski got a free kick in the 66th minute. Sinan Şiraz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gwidon Dubilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Clodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gwidon Dubilas made a huge save. Erasmo Clodio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Gwidon Dubilas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shadows United. Jan Gacki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Björkdahl having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Shadows United's goal looked a bit too open when Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos came free, but Kurt Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Clodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erasmo Clodio got free with Gwidon Dubilas in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lech Max fully deserved thier win.
