The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Perivaldo Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Cremaster booed when Team Guaxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cremaster's zone, Dráuzio Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Maidana came out of the goal and Dráuzio Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Frederico struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Adrianinho Mangueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cremaster. After 16 played minutes Team Guaxi got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Galvão. Adrianinho Mangueira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Godfredo Oidor. After having played for 24 minutes, Telmo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Guaxi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cremaster's Hernan Shantala shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Adrianinho Mangueira but with some difficulty. Adrianinho Mangueira came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cremaster's Isaias Frederico. But to his dismay, Isaias Frederico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Isaias Frederico in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adrianinho Mangueira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Cremaster's Godfredo Oidor got a free kick in the 38th minute. Adrianinho Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Zeledon Felipillo sent off a good shot on target. Henrique Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Astor Maidana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Isaias Frederico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adrianinho Mangueira. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isaias Frederico made the kick off in the second half. In the 59thth minute of the game Isaias Frederico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Team Guaxi's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Frederico came free, but Adrianinho Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dráuzio Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Guaxi's protests and gave Dráuzio Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cremaster booed when Team Guaxi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Frederico in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Isaias Frederico notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira. Adrianinho Mangueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sydney Borges blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Maidana having to make a save. A collision led to Cremaster getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Godfredo Oidor hit a great ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Isaias Frederico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Frederico in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrianinho Mangueira saved Team Guaxi from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Dráuzio Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes, Isaias Frederico made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Team Guaxi's Adrianinho Mangueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
