When Teoman Ataner fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's protests and gave Teoman Ataner a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE F.C. booed when Eşeği Saldım Çayıra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teoman Ataner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Santiago Veto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahmut Tanrıverdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Cristofor hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Adil Gelenbe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Perrando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cornelio Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Emir Mengüalp hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Inge came free, but Mahmut Tanrıverdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Avellaneda. Fernando Perrando acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ahmet Emir Mengüalp. Tunç Taşkınay kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Mahmut Tanrıverdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Mel in the 26th minute of play. After 28 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Veto. In the 31st minute, Bernardo Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Santiago Veto managed to get in a good position for a shot. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mahmut Tanrıverdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cornelio Inge made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Santiago Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mahmut Tanrıverdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Inge in the 54th minute of the match. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fernando Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Ataner in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kamer Utman was slow to take the kick. During this time Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Adil Gelenbe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Kamer Utman came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Eşeği Saldım Çayıra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kamer Utman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kamer Utman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamer Utman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Perrando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 minutes of play, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Kamer Utman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paşa Ali Baray hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Teoman Ataner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Cornelio Inge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INDEPENDIENTE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Eşeği Saldım Çayıra supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for INDEPENDIENTE F.C..
