Slavko Preskočil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Basilio Alabern made a huge save. The supporters of FC Tarragona 2006 booed when Jastreb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrija Pačić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, FC Tarragona 2006 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bautista Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Vedran Jusić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basilio Alabern. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Bautista Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Lenders kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Augustin Micin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basilio Alabern, 3-0. Jastreb's Bruno Kajp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xandro Cayuela in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Jastreb got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Micin. When Xandro Cayuela came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Tarragona 2006 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xandro Cayuela couldn't finish the play. FC Tarragona 2006's Xandro Cayuela got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Jastreb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slaven Podvršnik to maneuver through the defense. Vedran Jusić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Alabern having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jastreb made a substitution. Neven Kokan replaced Augustin Micin. The wind increased when Vedran Jusić made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes FC Tarragona 2006 got a freekick which was hit by Xandro Cayuela. Basilio Alabern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neven Kokan, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. FC Tarragona 2006's Basilio Alabern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slavko Preskočil in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, FC Tarragona 2006's Emeterio Carreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Kajp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Neven Kokan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Basilio Alabern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xandro Cayuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Jastreb's Vedran Jusić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Alabern made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 85 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Xandro Cayuela came free, but Bruno Kajp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damjan Kozina in the 88th minute of play forced FC Tarragona 2006's goalkeeper Basilio Alabern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Kajp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xandro Cayuela in the 93rd minute of play. Xandro Cayuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emeterio Carreira fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tarragona 2006's protests and gave Emeterio Carreira a yellow card for diving instead.
