Hodiah Hory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoompat Sittinoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natawudh Jantaramanee, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rea Katzman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rea Katzman in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panupan Ngaodej saved Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri from getting behind. Bodin Chumchaem had several of the Defensores De Eilat's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 20 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Hodiah Hory as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Natawudh Jantaramanee fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri's protests and gave Natawudh Jantaramanee a yellow card for diving instead. Bodin Chumchaem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Hodiah Hory made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rea Katzman was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Knattspyrnufélag Akureyri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rungphat Sirirangkurn to maneuver through the defense. Rea Katzman might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panupan Ngaodej. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
