Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvald Ekström kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Arne Karlsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sport Açores e Benfica's Sérgio Viegas. Sérgio Viegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osvald Ekströms short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Sérgio Viegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 10 minutes, Jacob Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Açores e Benfica and the Vännäsby BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacob Rocha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Sport Açores e Benfica's Sérgio Viegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Açores e Benfica from getting a goal against them. Sérgio Viegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvald Ekström in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Viegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Otto Colin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sérgio Viegas was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Osvald Ekström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvald Ekström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvald Ekström in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sérgio Viegas saved Sport Açores e Benfica from getting behind. Olof Palme came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Açores e Benfica's David Soveral. But to his dismay, David Soveral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Arne Karlsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Osvald Ekström struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Sérgio Viegas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vännäsby BF. Sport Açores e Benfica's Sérgio Viegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Açores e Benfica from getting a goal against them. Osvald Ekström in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sérgio Viegas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Osvald Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Viegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Vännäsby BF's Arne Karlsson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Viegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osvald Ekströms short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Sérgio Viegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Soveral to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Osvald Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Viegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When Vännäsby BF's Osvald Ekström in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Açores e Benfica's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Gois during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sport Açores e Benfica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Maurício Gois hit a great ball. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Sport Açores e Benfica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Salgueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Egil Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vännäsby BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egil Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Vännäsby BF's Osvald Ekström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Viegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 70 minutes into the match, Otto Colin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Viegas. Sport Açores e Benfica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Colin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Sérgio Viegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvald Ekström in the 74th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Sport Açores e Benfica got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Gois. In the 80th match minute, Sport Açores e Benfica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Vännäsby BF's Osvald Ekström made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Viegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92ndth minute of the game Osvald Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Açores e Benfica's Sérgio Viegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arne Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sérgio Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Vännäsby BF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
