The crowd rose to their feet as Cyryl Logewnik kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erasmo de Azevedo. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. São Petersburgo FC's Erasmo de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Logewnik in the 21st minute of play. GKS Milenium's Boleslaw Dlugi got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugênio Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ignacy Wojtkiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyryl Logewnik went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Kacper Borkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kacper Borkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes, São Petersburgo FC's Marcelinho Mendes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ignacy Wojtkiewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in São Petersburgo FC reached it. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Meirelles made a kick off. Erasmo de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyryl Logewnik in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to São Petersburgo FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nilton Alagoano hit a great ball.
