Maurício Varanda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Txartiko went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Oscar Txartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Malheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Brasil having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Oscar Txartiko made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Urutu F.C.'s Maurício Varanda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Oscar Txartiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Varanda was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Sarandí Fútbol Club booed when Urutu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luís Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Malheiro in the 37th minute of the match. When Miguel Regalado came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Urutu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Regalado couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Malheiro made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luís Malheiro made a precise shot to the right of Gualter Brasil. Sarandí Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 55th minute, Miguel Regalado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Brasil was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Oscar Txartiko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Maurício Varanda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 63rd minute, Rene Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Anestis Kakalis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurício Varanda. The goal made the score 2-3. Rodrigo Moco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Oinatz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Regalado in the 81st minute of play forced Sarandí Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Gualter Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Txartiko in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Varanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hortêncio Camarinha hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Benjamin Berbiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tozé Polido kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sarandí Fútbol Club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Urutu F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
