Gallo Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urutu F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gallo Moron's Esteban Chico got a free kick in the 19th minute. Fermin Gaizko charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Gaizko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Gaizko hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Urutu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Moco to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Varanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Gaizko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Gaizko in the 24th minute of play forced Urutu F.C.'s goalkeeper Maurício Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gallo Moron booed when Urutu F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopo Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Hortêncio Camarinha put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Urutu F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Gallo Moron a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eliseo Cordeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urutu F.C.'s Maurício Varanda. 0-1. Mauricio Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Malheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Malheiro to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Gaizko got free with Maurício Varanda in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Urutu F.C.'s Miguel Regalado pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 56 minutes, Emiliano Ubendu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gallo Moron and the Urutu F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urutu F.C. made a substitution. Ivó Melo replaced Miguel Regalado. Lopo Sá struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mauricio Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urutu F.C.. Luís Malheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivó Melo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Urutu F.C.'s Maurício Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Bernal in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gallo Moron's Fermin Gaizko got a free kick in the 80th minute. Fermin Gaizko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Maurício Varanda made a huge save. Maurício Varanda made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Fermin Gaizko sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Moco in the 85th minute of play. If Luís Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Urutu F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Moco to maneuver through the defense. The Gallo Moron players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
