Paulino Iban was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ATYLAS FC! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Mean Machine. Alkaios Kalokerinos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Martin Urtsin. 1-0. After a rather tough play, ATYLAS FC's Hernan Isidor got a free kick in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Mean Machine's Alkaios Katsikopodaros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Urtsin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Alkaios Katsikopodaros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Babbis Zisimopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Urtsin having to interfere. After having played for 22 minutes, Anthimos Papageorgiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mean Machine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthimos Papageorgiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Salbatore kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Alkaios Katsikopodaros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Martin Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Eder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Domingos Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATYLAS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 39 minutes Mean Machine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Froilan Romildo who took care of the corner kick. After 40 minutes, Domingos Abaunza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATYLAS FC and the Mean Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Abaunza hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, ATYLAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alkaios Katsikopodaros came free, but Martin Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ATYLAS FC's Martin Urtsin got control of the ball when Alkaios Katsikopodaros tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alkaios Katsikopodaros made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Alkaios Katsikopodaros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Urtsin. ATYLAS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkaios Katsikopodaros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Martin Urtsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutichios Saleas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Isidoros Tsioris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Urtsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Eutichios Saleas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Urtsin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Froilan Romildo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Romildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ATYLAS FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Froilan Romildo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkaios Katsikopodaros in the 72nd minute of play forced ATYLAS FC's goalkeeper Martin Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eutichios Saleas came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Saleas couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Eutichios Saleas made a precise shot to the right of Martin Urtsin. ATYLAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Mean Machine's Eutichios Saleas got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Eutichios Saleas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Eutichios Saleas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Urtsin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Tsioris in the 87th minute of the match. If Alkaios Katsikopodaros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkaios Katsikopodaros scored 6-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Urtsin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mean Machine had played much better football throughout.
