Dragos Castravet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlastimír Bělíček in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Alexandru Cimpoi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dinamo Speia's protests and gave Alexandru Cimpoi a yellow card for diving instead. Sergiu Buga scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bohdan Lyčka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute Sergiu Buga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohdan Lyčka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
