Söderhall's Alexander Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Washington in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute Pål Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Beard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Langford got free with Alexander Mikaelsson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donald Beard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Lindman, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Denny Washington kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Alexander Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Langford, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Pål Lindman took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donald Beard. After 37 played minutes Flame Throwers got a freekick which was hit by Porter Whalen. Alexander Mikaelsson was a little too slow when Denny Washington got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Alexander Mikaelsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Osborn in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, Söderhall's Karl Juhlin got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Söderhall were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Washington in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Mikaelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 played minutes Söderhall got a freekick which was hit by Svante Olsson. Donald Beard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pål Lindman went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Porter Whalen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Langford in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Flame Throwers's goal looked a bit too open when Svante Olsson came free, but Donald Beard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nicky Ransom fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flame Throwers's protests and gave Nicky Ransom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Nicky Ransom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Ragnar Browald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denny Washington in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Mikaelsson saved Söderhall from getting behind. After 73 minutes of play Flame Throwers's Nicky Ransom was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 played minutes Flame Throwers got a freekick which was hit by Nicky Ransom. Alexander Mikaelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Langford in the 77th minute of the match. Alexander Mikaelsson came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flame Throwers's Jermaine Swanson. But to his dismay, Jermaine Swanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 88th minute, Ragnar Browald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Jermaine Swanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Flame Throwers lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
