An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber dos Santos in the 3rd minute of play forced LaCity's goalkeeper Leonardo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Senna scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Linhares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LRCA Office Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luís Fábio Mandrak hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Bernardo Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurício Linhares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deivid Mendonça in the 25th minute. 27 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when LaCity's Tales Barbosa fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Loyola in the 29th minute of play forced LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Maurício Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, LaCity's Bernardo Senna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurício Linhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Mendonça in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, LaCity's Tião Loyola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 41st minute, LaCity's Tales Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Maurício Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Loyola came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tião Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maurício Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, LRCA Office Club's Bebeto Vianna got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Tales Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Linhares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Barbosa came free, but Maurício Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Senna made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Linhares. LRCA Office Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 72 played minutes LaCity got a freekick which was hit by Tião Loyola. The supporters of LaCity booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toke Chute didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Linhares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Maurício Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Barbosa in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Tales Barbosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Maurício Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 minutes of play, LaCity's Bernardo Senna made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Bernardo Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the LaCity players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
