Veli Batı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Navarro in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Baransel Turgay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl-Oskar Odén. Karl-Oskar Odén yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Halcones Azules getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Donato Baleren hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Halcones Azules fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 38th minute, Baransel Turgay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lázaro Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baransel Turgay to strike the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Kauldi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Odén came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Emrah Tokcan. But to his dismay, Emrah Tokcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. With a little luck, Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Veli Batı got control of the ball when Lázaro Navarro tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baransel Turgay in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Odén saved Halcones Azules from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Ruben Salvadore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Halcones Azules and the Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the game, one of Halcones Azules:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü's Veli Batı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Kuzeytepe Spor Kulübü from getting a goal against them. Halcones Azules's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
