The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MUŞRUF F.C 05's Abdi Saygın Hurmacı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mevlüt Zeyrek in the 2nd minute of play. 1-0 became the score in the 5th minute when Nuh Bilgetay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zülfikar Fırıncı made an important save on a dangerous shot by İshak Dizdar in the 9th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuh Bilgetay, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Newells Old Boys defense, İshak Dizdar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zülfikar Fırıncı. The Newells Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zülfikar Fırıncı should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Serbülent Behram fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mirkelam Periz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Hurmacı having to interfere. In the 26th minute Ulu Özkutsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Saygın Hurmacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Lütfi Cevizoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newells Old Boys and the MUŞRUF F.C 05 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Lütfi Cevizoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MUŞRUF F.C 05's Vahdet Hazarbeyoğlu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Newells Old Boys. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Serbülent Behram took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Zülfikar Fırıncı to make any attempt to save it. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semi Merdan in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Newells Old Boys's zone, İshak Dizdar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zülfikar Fırıncı came out of the goal and İshak Dizdar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütfi Cevizoğlu got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of MUŞRUF F.C 05 booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lütfi Cevizoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orçun Baloğlu was the one to do the kick off. İshak Dizdar took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zülfikar Fırıncı. Zülfikar Fırıncı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 56th minute, İshak Dizdar made a precise shot to the right of Zülfikar Fırıncı. Newells Old Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. İshak Dizdar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semi Merdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zülfikar Fırıncı having to make a save. After 63 played minutes MUŞRUF F.C 05 got a freekick which was hit by Güner Ceylan. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semi Merdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Semi Merdan in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Newells Old Boys defense, Serbülent Behram kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zülfikar Fırıncı. The Newells Old Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zülfikar Fırıncı should have stopped the shot. Zülfikar Fırıncı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serbülent Behram in the 81st minute of play. When İshak Dizdar came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the MUŞRUF F.C 05 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İshak Dizdar couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Serbülent Behram left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUŞRUF F.C 05 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by İshak Dizdar in the 86th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Zülfikar Fırıncı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zülfikar Fırıncı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuh Bilgetay, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, İshak Dizdar notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Newells Old Boys's Zülfikar Fırıncı. Zülfikar Fırıncı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when İshak Dizdar came free, but Zülfikar Fırıncı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Nuh Bilgetay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zülfikar Fırıncı was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MUŞRUF F.C 05 had played much better football throughout.
