The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Ricardinho Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salvadore Abaunza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lauro Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Precioso Abeitia might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lauro Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Precioso Abeitia ran back to his position shaking his head. Risca Faca IMT were furious when Enrique Pernambucano was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 9th match minute, Risca Faca IMT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Maximiliano Abeijon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lauro Alves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kalatakaya F.C. reached it. Lauro Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arotza Abajas in the 12th minute of the match. Lauro Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvadore Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute Arotza Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Risca Faca IMT defense, Arotza Abajas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauro Alves. The Risca Faca IMT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauro Alves should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salvadore Abaunza got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Precioso Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauro Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsoa Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Precioso Abeitia in the 35th minute of play forced Risca Faca IMT's goalkeeper Lauro Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Jauregui got free with Lauro Alves in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lauro Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Precioso Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luis Ibarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Félix in the 70th minute of play. Gilson Félix's late challenge caught a Kalatakaya F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson Félix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Risca Faca IMT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Félix to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsoa Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
