The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Garaile Freijo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mario Olando came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by RESISTIR SC's Garaile Freijo. But to his dismay, Garaile Freijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Garaile Freijo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the RESISTIR SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garaile Freijo couldn't finish the play. Mario Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garaile Freijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Garaile Freijo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mario Olando. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Mario Olando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lico Sarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some careless play in the Barrilete Cósmico defense, Garaile Freijo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Olando. The Barrilete Cósmico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Olando should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Paio. With a little luck, Barrilete Cósmico's Mario Olando got control of the ball when Gombal Mateu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barrilete Cósmico's Mario Olando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Barrilete Cósmico from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the game, Garaile Freijo lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Mario Olando. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mario Olando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
