The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hung in the 5th minute of play forced PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Adrian Högberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Harry Haagenstjerne in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Dalin's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. 12 minutes into the match, FC Dalin's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Füllkrug came free, but Phùng Nghiêm-Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Hong struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Adrian Högberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dalin. In the 14th match minute, PP Plessydask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Sander to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Högberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Binh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, PP Plessydask was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Palle Paalgard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PP Plessydask's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palle Paalgard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Dalin's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dalin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PP Plessydask the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Palle Paalgard was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Adrian Högberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nguyễn Hung. After a rather tough play, FC Dalin's Hoàng Tuan Hoang got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Olov Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phùng Nghiêm-Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Füllkrug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Phùng Nghiêm-Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes FC Dalin got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Binh. After 71 minutes, Olov Bengtsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PP Plessydask and the FC Dalin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Olov Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Paalgard in the 76th minute of play forced FC Dalin's goalkeeper Phùng Nghiêm-Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PP Plessydask getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. John Lundström hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Emanuel Myhr was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
