Dawid Popowicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Hjalmar Lind when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 51st match minute, Pihl United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. The Project Nemesis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When Dawid Popowicz came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Project Nemesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Popowicz couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Project Nemesis's Wincent Zjawin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hjalmar Lind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 73rd match minute, Pihl United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Tunander to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Jerzy Piczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pihl United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tadeusz Rekowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Project Nemesis's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Bruse's late challenge caught a Project Nemesis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
