Ronald Kip, 3 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Kramer came free, but Titus Leonz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Hercules Brütsch. If Roland Dilling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titus Leonz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Kramer in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Hercules Brütsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Daniele Huri notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pannekoeken's Remco Witters. Remco Witters was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Roland Dilling sped through Zelg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Titus Leonz. 20 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Kramer came free, but Titus Leonz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remco Witters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniele Huri in the 22nd minute of the match. Mark Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titus Leonz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Kramer, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Mark Kramer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Kramer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Leonz having to interfere. Titus Leonz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Kramer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Kramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Titus Leonz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Titus Leonz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Kramer in the 39th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugene Mullis made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Zelg FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mark Kramer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th minute, Pannekoeken's Pascall Wiersma dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Mark Kramer's late challenge caught a Zelg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Kramer helped the player get up and apologised. Mark Kramer hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Idelberger came free, but Titus Leonz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roland Dilling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titus Leonz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Kramer in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Hercules Brütsch got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Pannekoeken's Ronny Idelberger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Mark Kramer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Titus Leonz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Mark Kramer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Leonz having to interfere. Mark Kramer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Pannekoeken supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pannekoeken would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
