When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Máximo Kirchner put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kristiaan Roulin. Unidad de Matanza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Benedicto Oriol scored to the left of an out of position Jonatan Eguzki, making the score, 1-2. Kristiaan Roulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 26th minute Máximo Kirchner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Roulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
