In the 3rd minute, Fenerbahçe SK's Adil Akçam seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adil Akçam the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fenerbahçe SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adil Akçam had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fenerbahçe SK:s Anibal Niguel showed great skill when he stopped Onuralp Uraza:s penalty. Anibal Niguel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Nabi İhsan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 10th minute, Esenyurt's Alptuğ Ulusu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anibal Niguel. Anibal Niguel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 13 played minutes Fenerbahçe SK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Emir Özdeş. Erdinç İlenç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Anibal Niguel made a huge save. Anibal Niguel came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Esenyurt's Gökhan Sami. But to his dismay, Gökhan Sami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Fenerbahçe SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ali Emir Özdeş hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayhan Tanbek in the 20th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Anibal Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nabi İhsan came free, but Anibal Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fenerbahçe SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Ali Nabi İhsan scored to the left of an out of position Anibal Niguel, making the score, 4-0. Fenerbahçe SK's Anibal Niguel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Fenerbahçe SK from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Alptuğ Ulusu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Niguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alptuğ Ulusu in the 36th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes of play, Esenyurt's Ali Nabi İhsan made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anibal Niguel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anibal Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ulusu in the 57th minute of the match. Anibal Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökhan Sami in the 58th minute of play. Anibal Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökhan Sami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Esenyurt got a freekick which was hit by Arif Gaffar Rıfkı. Fenerbahçe SK's Anibal Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alptuğ Ulusu in the 62nd minute of play. If Erdinç İlenç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Niguel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi İhsan in the 87th minute of play. After 91 played minutes, Esenyurt's Erdinç İlenç shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Niguel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esenyurt reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alptuğ Ulusu in the 93rd minute of play forced Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Anibal Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Mirza Uludağ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Anibal Niguel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esenyurt had played much better football throughout.
