The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Thalis Kominatos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julian Chazon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Mouras got free with Julian Chazon in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MindHead FC's Kostas Mouras was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 4th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 10th minute, Carel Demeulemeester left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stawiszcze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, MindHead FC's Pantelis Katsanikas got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thalis Kominatos struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Julian Chazon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MindHead FC. In the 16th minute Sylwester Nikodemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Nomikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionysis Tsiartas in the 21st minute of play forced Stawiszcze's goalkeeper Julian Chazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Nikodemski in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Stawiszcze's Julian Chazon got control of the ball when Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tolis Nomikos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Nikodemski in the 27th minute of play. After 37 played minutes MindHead FC got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Kanelos. Tolis Nomikos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Nikodemski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Petka in the 40th minute of play forced MindHead FC's goalkeeper Tolis Nomikos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stawiszcze's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wladyslaw Karaszkiewicz in the 42nd minute. Mao Li was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Carel Demeulemeester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolis Nomikos was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carel Demeulemeester to make the kick off. Tolis Nomikos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sylwester Nikodemski sent off a good shot on target. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stawiszcze! Julian Chazon went to the wrong direction when Dionysis Tsiartas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. MindHead FC made a substitution. Marinos Tatsis replaced Kostas Mouras. In the 83rd minute, Teofil Puzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eutichios Kanelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in MindHead FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Stawiszcze's Carel Demeulemeester got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tolis Nomikos. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stawiszcze eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
