Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Gustav Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Westerberg having to interfere. Orvar Stenquist kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Stålman in the 11th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Guerrero. Ronny Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 15th minute of play. Jörgen Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ronny Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Stålman in the 16th minute of the match. Ingemar Stålman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronny Westerberg having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Stålman came free, but Ronny Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronny Westerberg came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman. But to his dismay, Ingemar Stålman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ralf Edström might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Westerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ralf Edström ran back to his position shaking his head. Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Stålman in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ingemar Stålman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Westerberg. Melchester Rovers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingemar Stålman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 26th minute Ralf Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronny Westerberg came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Hermanö Oilers's Ingemar Stålman. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fredrik Gustafsson made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Ingemar Stålman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ronny Westerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Stålman got free with Ronny Westerberg in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Melchester Rovers's Ivar Fredriksson got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute Ingemar Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Stålman in the 64th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Westerberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ingemar Stålman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 65 minute of play. Marc Lägdin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Hermanö Oilers booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg got control of the ball when Ingemar Stålman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marc Lägdin's late challenge caught a Hermanö Oilers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Lägdin helped the player get up and apologised. Hermanö Oilers were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Melchester Rovers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Kvarnström took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Melchester Rovers's zone, Ingemar Stålman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Westerberg came out of the goal and Ingemar Stålman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchester Rovers's Marc Lägdin got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Marc Lägdin off the ground. Marc Lägdin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The Hermanö Oilers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
