Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Tayfur Çanak. Ricardo Kaká sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7thth minute of the game Désiré Kaká who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Indiana University's Barışcan İnegöllü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mümtaz Oba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 11th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Kaká kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Barışcan İnegöllü. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Désiré Kaká who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Indiana University's Barışcan İnegöllü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Ricardo Kaká rounded Indiana University's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Efekan Selim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mümtaz Oba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alparslan Nabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes, Barbaros Hatipoğlu made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Blue Mountain State's Mümtaz Oba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Atalan Naim fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Indiana University's protests and gave Atalan Naim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Atalan Naim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Kaká could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Barışcan İnegöllü made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Blue Mountain State's Rıza Atasoy got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blue Mountain State's zone, Barbaros Hatipoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mümtaz Oba came out of the goal and Barbaros Hatipoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Barbaros Hatipoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Mountain State's Mümtaz Oba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barbaros Hatipoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Köksal Eröz made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ricardo Kaká immediately put the ball in play. Mümtaz Oba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alparslan Nabi in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Blue Mountain State got a freekick which was hit by Rıza Atasoy. In the 63rd minute, Ricardo Kaká ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barışcan İnegöllü was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Blue Mountain State's Mümtaz Oba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Mountain State from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Blue Mountain State getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eyüp Kalender hit a great ball. Peyami Kazım missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 73 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mümtaz Oba right hand side. Barbaros Hatipoğlu had several of the Blue Mountain State's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Mümtaz Oba as he didn't even see the shot coming. Indiana University's Pierre Van Hoojdonk was substituted for Barbaros Hatipoğlu. Indiana University made a substitution. Buğrahan Keremşah replaced Alparslan Nabi. Peyami Kazım made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Buğrahan Keremşah. Ricardo Kaká sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hakkı Onur Sarim came free in the 90th minute and tried to tip the ball over Mümtaz Oba, but to the joy of Blue Mountain State's supporters the ball went over. Barışcan İnegöllü made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Kaká in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Blue Mountain State could leave the field as winners, despite Indiana University having more of the ball for most of the match.
