Svante Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Söderquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alexander Cane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Wikander having to interfere. Svante Wikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Valrot in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Alexander Cane made a precise shot to the right of Svante Wikander. Sledgehammer KO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer KO's Joachim Nyström got a free kick in the 85th minute. Anton Valrot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Hogans Heroes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 87th minute, Anton Valrot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Svante Wikander. The goal made the score 0-7. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Alexander Cane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svante Wikander. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svante Wikander should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Hogans Heroes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sledgehammer KO throughout the match.
