When Rafael Zikri came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ciudad Tao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Zikri couldn't finish the play. Julius Axø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hugo Sikström made a huge save. In the 5th minute, Julius Axø fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Hugo Sikström. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Ciudad Tao FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. When Mohamed Salah fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Mohamed Salah a yellow card for diving instead. Mohamed Salah hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match, Rafael Zikri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Sikström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Sikström made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Julius Axø sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Börje Åkesson. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Ahlerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes, Sundborn IF's Pål Arvidsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walter Fransson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sundborn IF reached it. When Billy Lundström fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudad Tao FC's protests and gave Billy Lundström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Ciudad Tao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Walter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Wallmark in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Julius Axø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudad Tao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 24 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Tzoko Quaade. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Stellan Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundborn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Stellan Wallmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Oliver Flamez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Arvidsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pål Arvidsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Stellan Wallmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciudad Tao FC's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Arenstedt in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Stellan Wallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundborn IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stellan Wallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olof Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Hugo Sikström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciudad Tao FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Julius Axø made the kick off in the second half. Felix Arenstedt's late challenge caught a Ciudad Tao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Arenstedt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. Ciudad Tao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundborn IF the free kick. After 70 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Olof Löfgren. When Stellan Wallmark came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stellan Wallmark couldn't finish the play. Sundborn IF's Tor Ahlbom was substituted for Börje Åkesson. 75 minutes into the match, Mohamed Salah notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ciudad Tao FC's Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Axø in the 79th minute of play forced Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Hugo Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mohamed Salah kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Walter Fransson got control of the ball when Mohamed Salah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niclas Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Hugo Sikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Axø, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Ahlbom got free with Walter Fransson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
