With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zula Furlit saved FC Latające Siekiery from getting behind. Zula Furlit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Zula Furlit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Waldemar Andrzejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Chazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Chazon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Andrzejewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Teofil Sawicki's late challenge caught a WZG Sandomierz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofil Sawicki helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Latające Siekiery getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Teofil Sawicki hit a great ball. Zula Furlit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 45th minute. Kajetan Wolniewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kajetan Wolniewicz to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Teofil Sawicki put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Radomir Chazon. Boruc Marut scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zula Furlit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Wojciech Dec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zula Furlit was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. WZG Sandomierz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
