An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Barna in the 4th minute of play forced Emalia Olkusz's goalkeeper Michal Michallek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Zawada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kain Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Miromir Harbaszewski fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THE FAVOURITES's protests and gave Miromir Harbaszewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes THE FAVOURITES got a freekick which was hit by Miromir Harbaszewski. A collision led to THE FAVOURITES getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dawid Dembowski hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Michal Michallek successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the match, THE FAVOURITES's goal looked a bit too open when Kain Abel came free, but Sebastian Zawada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Barna in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michal Michallek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michal Michallek made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Lucjan Madajczyk sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 29 in the game by Lucjan Madajczyk from a close distance when the talented Michal Michallek managed to make a qualified save. Emalia Olkusz's players were relieved. A collision led to THE FAVOURITES getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Miromir Harbaszewski hit a great ball. In the 46th minute THE FAVOURITES were awarded a corner. Herbert Kolba went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Kolba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michal Michallek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kain Abel to strike the kick off in the second half. Czeslaw Dziuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michal Michallek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Barna in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the match THE FAVOURITES got a corner. Emalia Olkusz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Herbert Kolba ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Herbert Kolba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Michal Michallek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 65 minutes of play, THE FAVOURITES's Daniel Barna made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Michallek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jedrzej Bendyk lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emalia Olkusz! In the 90th minute Herbert Kolba suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. 90 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Dziuma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emalia Olkusz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE FAVOURITES the free kick. THE FAVOURITES's Olgierd Penczkowski was substituted for Herbert Kolba. In the 91st match minute, Emalia Olkusz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Dziuma to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 96th minute of the game was made by Jacek Matuch with Piotr Skonieczny as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
