Dionysis Naskos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphonse Keita in the 15th minute of the match. FC Saubrigues's Paulo Dubernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stergios Veggos in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Raphaël Giacometti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionysis Naskos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute, Kamel Leseigneur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionysis Naskos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paulo Dubernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoforos Grigoratos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Raphaël Giacometti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camille Roca lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Camille Roca hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Paulo Dubernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoforos Grigoratos in the 50th minute of play. The Mikrá Sánta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Saubrigues were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alphonse Keita managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Saubrigues's supporters rose to their feet, but Alphonse Keita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionysis Naskos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Freddy Fricot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mikrá Sánta the free kick. A collision led to FC Saubrigues getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Freddy Fricot hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Stergios Veggos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Dubernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Chronakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Dubernard. FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mikrá Sánta's attentive Alekos Konstantinidis managed to snatch the ball when Laurent Cazes made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Paulo Dubernard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christoforos Grigoratos took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Dubernard. Paulo Dubernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match was over FC Saubrigues could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mikrá Sánta throughout the match.
