André Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Prata in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Romário França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Silas Prata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Maranhense. Silas Prata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tales Netto took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrão Furtado. Pedrão Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Vidal in the 19th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Pedrão Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luiz Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Pinheiro. Pedrão Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano das Neves in the 24th minute of the match. When Joélson Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compugraf's protests and gave Joélson Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Compugraf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, E.C. Galera's Guto Meira got a free kick in the 28th minute. Joélson Paiva hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tales Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tales Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, E.C. Galera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Netto to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luiz Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Caetano das Neves. Silas Prata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Maranhense having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Roberto Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedrão Furtado made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Tales Netto sent off a good shot on target. During the 53rd minute of the match Joélson Paiva completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joélson Paiva a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 56 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Netto came free, but Pedrão Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Netto in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedrão Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Betinho Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Roberto Vidal came free, but Pedrão Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano das Neves in the 64th minute of play forced Compugraf's goalkeeper Pedrão Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Compugraf's Pedrão Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano das Neves in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goalkeeper Pedrão Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales Netto. During the 71st minute of the match Pedro Luiz Pinheiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Luiz Pinheiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pedro Luiz Pinheiro hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 73rd minute when Tales Netto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Evandro Loyola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Pedrão Furtado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Roberto Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tales Netto got free with Pedrão Furtado in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Caetano das Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedrão Furtado. That made the score 1-3 in the 87 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Compugraf's goal looked a bit too open when Tales Netto came free, but Pedrão Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, E.C. Galera's Tales Netto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedrão Furtado. Pedrão Furtado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the final whistle sounded E.C. Galera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Compugraf.
