Martin Alebeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Ekström in the 17th minute of play. Robert Juhlin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With his leg Martin Alebeck managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Ciudad Tao FC's Adrian Kilstedt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mountainhammer United's Martin Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Ekström in the 42nd minute of play. Martin Alebeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Kilstedt in the 45th minute. When Håkan Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ciudad Tao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Ekström couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Käcker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robert Juhlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Martin Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Kilstedt in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Alebeck saved Mountainhammer United from getting behind. Martin Alebeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Alebeck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Adrian Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Hellkvist hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Mountainhammer United got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hellkvist. A collision led to Ciudad Tao FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Håkan Ekström hit a great ball. The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when Ciudad Tao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Adrian Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Alebeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mountainhammer United's Michael Käcker got a free kick in the 88th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Adrian Kilstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudad Tao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Kilstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Alebeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Juhlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
