Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Sletteenge's Godtfred Friisbøl started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Rollo Valow. Asfred Gyngsø came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Edward Rushmere. But to his dismay, Edward Rushmere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Godtfred Friisbøl put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Spike Lambley. 16 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Rushmere came free, but Asfred Gyngsø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Remke's late challenge caught a Club Atlético de Newell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christopher Remke helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Remke. In the 25th minute, Club Atlético de Newell's Mike Little ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asfred Gyngsø. Asfred Gyngsø yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Sletteenge's Asfred Gyngsø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Sletteenge from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sletteenge booed when Club Atlético de Newell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfie Kenworthy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Lambley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rollo Valow in the 31st minute of play. Spike Lambley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godtfred Friisbøl in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Basil Holden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asfred Gyngsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Edward Rushmere sped through Sletteenge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asfred Gyngsø. Edward Rushmere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Sletteenge's goalkeeper Asfred Gyngsø had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Little. After a rather tough play, Sletteenge's Nico Budolfsen got a free kick in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basil Holden in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asfred Gyngsø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Edward Rushmere notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Sletteenge's Asfred Gyngsø. Asfred Gyngsø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sletteenge's Asfred Gyngsø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Holden in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Lambley got control of the ball when Godtfred Friisbøl tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sletteenge defense, Edward Rushmere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asfred Gyngsø. The Sletteenge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asfred Gyngsø should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Basil Holden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asfred Gyngsø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asfred Gyngsø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Little, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basil Holden in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asfred Gyngsø saved Sletteenge from getting behind. Club Atlético de Newell walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
