But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Di Lorenzo couldn't finish the play. Emilio Palone made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Dave Malatesta sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Didi Vendetta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Concetto Mancini hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Didi Vendetta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Palone. Didi Vendetta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, Infami di Canaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Tagliente to maneuver through the defense. Alvise Testi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Farina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Claudio Diana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Pennetta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Vendetta in the 37th minute of play forced Borgo Doria F.C.'s goalkeeper Emilio Palone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Didi Vendetta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Florian Scudieri notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Infami di Canaus's Alvise Testi. Alvise Testi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florian Scudieri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Ennio Imperatrice sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Palone skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrea Tagliente during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrea Tagliente hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Infami di Canaus's Andrea Tagliente got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 63 played minutes Infami di Canaus got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Tagliente. Alvise Testi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristoforo Tellini, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Andrea Tagliente was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Florian Scudieri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvise Testi came out and tried to block the shot, but Florian Scudieri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fedele Pellicciotta during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
