The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, KFC Vliegplein's goalkeeper Charl Van Bockorst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alek Uyttebroeck. When Yvan Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the The Wolfpack™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yvan Van Impe couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Jurgen Van Dessel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Vliegplein and the The Wolfpack™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurgen Van Dessel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Christoffel Winnepenninck hit a great ball. Waut Van Hoof hit a great ball. KFC Vliegplein's Charl Van Bockorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yvan Van Impe in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KFC Vliegplein's Waut Van Hoof got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the KFC Vliegplein defense, Alek Uyttebroeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charl Van Bockorst. The KFC Vliegplein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charl Van Bockorst should have stopped the shot. After 38 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Kristen de Cijser. Wesly Leenpoels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Kristen de Cijser got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wesly Leenpoels stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yvan Van Impe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charl Van Bockorst having to interfere. Stijn Van Hoovelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Charl Van Bockorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Yvan Van Impe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charl Van Bockorst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Wolfpack™'s Yvan Van Impe got a free kick in the 68th minute. Yvan Van Impe charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yvan Van Impe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yvan Van Impe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Wolfpack™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Wesly Leenpoels scored to the left of an out of position Roy Schockaert, making the score, 1-1. Roy Schockaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesly Leenpoels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KFC Vliegplein's Charl Van Bockorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek Uyttebroeck in the 89th minute of play. Yvan Van Impe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Vliegplein were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
