Sotomayor Pendones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bartolo Misael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Lecea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Sotomayor Pendones heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Galácticos del Pueblo booed when FC Philotimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Artiaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lamberto came free, but Gavica Enderica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
