After taking down the ball on MIK Focus ŽILINA's corner Martin Vozár fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dušan Belko quite easily take care of the ball. In the 17th minute, Zulkarnaen Bramantio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dušan Belko, passed just outside the right post. When Zulkarnaen Bramantio fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MIK Focus ŽILINA's protests and gave Zulkarnaen Bramantio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Zulkarnaen Bramantio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jozef Domanický managed to get in a good position for a shot. White Lion's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Domanický was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislav Vališ didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Marčok went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Domanický came free, but Ladislav Vališ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Marčok in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislav Vališ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarne Vloeberghs hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to MIK Focus ŽILINA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Zulkarnaen Bramantio hit a great ball. After the first half White Lion were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lukáč Hanigovský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dušan Belko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislav Vališ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Demjanovič's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute Daniel Marčok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislav Vališ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Róbert Demjanovič tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ladislav Vališ saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute White Lion were awarded a corner. Anders Holm went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 73rd minute, Ľubomír Pekarík fired away a free kick at goal. Stanislav Melník charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislav Melník the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Anders Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Lion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. White Lion's Dušan Belko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Erdődy in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Adrian Ivana made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dušan Belko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th match minute, MIK Focus ŽILINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukáč Hanigovský to maneuver through the defense.
