Korhan Mahsun struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Atalan Tunçkaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EsTeRGoN. Atalan Tunçkaya came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by EsTeRGoN's Boran İsrafil. But to his dismay, Boran İsrafil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A hard shot 15 in the game by Ercüment Yay from a close distance when the talented Atalan Tunçkaya managed to make a qualified save. FC SASA ILIC's players were relieved. Jurand Marczyniec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadettin Tunçkol in the 16th minute of play. Atalan Tunçkaya made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Kerimhan Tüzeman sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Ömer Rıza Özbek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Sadettin Tunçkol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurand Marczyniec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to EsTeRGoN getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Boran İsrafil hit a great ball. Jurand Marczyniec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sadettin Tunçkol's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Gérard Piquet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC SASA ILIC's Atalan Tunçkaya did a great save. Atalan Tunçkaya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korhan Mahsun's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, EsTeRGoN's goal looked a bit too open when Enes Behzat came free, but Jurand Marczyniec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behiç Cangur hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sadettin Tunçkol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atalan Tunçkaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korhan Mahsun in the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, FC SASA ILIC's goal looked a bit too open when Ercüment Yay came free, but Atalan Tunçkaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to EsTeRGoN getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Boran İsrafil hit a great ball. Jurand Marczyniec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sadettin Tunçkol in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercüment Yay in the 65th minute of play forced FC SASA ILIC's goalkeeper Atalan Tunçkaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, EsTeRGoN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korhan Mahsun to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Sefer's late challenge caught a EsTeRGoN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Sefer helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Sefer hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jurand Marczyniec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sefer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atalan Tunçkaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Filiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of EsTeRGoN booed when FC SASA ILIC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytek Şükür didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Sadettin Tunçkol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurand Marczyniec was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the EsTeRGoN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
