The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Bursalona's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Fulanito came free, but Bahadır Doğanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkin Emek in the 14th minute of play forced Bursalona's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yetkin Emek in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Bursalona's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Fulanito came free, but Bahadır Doğanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahadır Doğanay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkin Emek in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Bursalona getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Şimşek Tur hit a great ball. Murathan İcabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bahadır Doğanay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vavá Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Sauveur in the 36th minute of play forced Bursalona's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AREN SPOR booed when Bursalona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murathan İcabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enver Özdeğer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Necmettin İşcan came out and tried to block the shot, but Enver Özdeğer slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haldun Onay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Mustafa Haydar Nursal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bahadır Doğanay was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Fulanito in the 55th minute of play forced Bursalona's goalkeeper Bahadır Doğanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, AREN SPOR's Cosme Fulanito made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahadır Doğanay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Necmettin İşcan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haldun Onay's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Bursalona's goal looked a bit too open when Musa Eroğul came free, but Bahadır Doğanay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bahadır Doğanay came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by AREN SPOR's Vavá Håland. But to his dismay, Vavá Håland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Bahadır Doğanay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkin Emek in the 71st minute of the match. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Fulanito in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Yetkin Emek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Musa Eroğul in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bahadır Doğanay saved Bursalona from getting behind. When Mustafa Haydar Nursal came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the AREN SPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Haydar Nursal couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Yetkin Emek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bahadır Doğanay was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Fulanito in the 86th minute of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Haldun Onay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AREN SPOR's Necmettin İşcan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bursalona's Bahadır Doğanay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Bursalona from getting a goal against them. Bahadır Doğanay made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Yetkin Emek sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bursalona's Mikail Arabacı got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
