After 73 minutes of play, Lithuania's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Algitas Dubauskas was slow to take the kick. During this time Lithuania's players had a chance to rest. Lithuania's Saulius Pilipavičius was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joacim Dromph in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalkeeper Joacim Dromph, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th match minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Borre to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Evtim Stanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robertas Sabaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Robertas Sabaitis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Evtim Stanov in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
