Spectators: 15921 (Terracing: 10000, Seating: 5448, VIP seats: 473) Kiera Archer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Czech Republic fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Czech Republic's Robert Šedina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the game, Radim Zadina threw the ball into play from the sideline. Northern Ireland's Blair York quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Northern Ireland's Kiera Archer in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Pavel Hanka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiera Archer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Kiera Archer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Hanka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Colin Wright came free, but Pavel Hanka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kiera Archer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute Kiera Archer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Hanka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kiera Archer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Hanka was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kiera Archer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern Ireland's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiera Archer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Hanka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Radim Zadina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Northern Ireland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Northern Ireland booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radim Zadina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Robert Šedina made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Northern Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Phillip Woodhall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Robert Šedina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Phillip Woodhall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Northern Ireland's Phillip Woodhall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 65th minute of play. Northern Ireland's Rodney Cunningham was substituted for Kiera Archer. Czech Republic made a substitution. Martin Berki replaced Jan Plocek. Northern Ireland made a substitution. Terry Mayfield replaced Colin Wright. In the 72nd minute Czech Republic were awarded a corner. Čeněk Laňka went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Czech Republic's Čeněk Laňka to fire away a dangerous shot which Phillip Woodhall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Robert Šedina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phillip Woodhall was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Michal Stehno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phillip Woodhall was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Czech Republic's Karel Tvrdý was substituted for Michal Stehno. Ty Hislop in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pavel Hanka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pavel Hanka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ty Hislop in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Roman Vašek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Northern Ireland's Joey England quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 93rd minute Robert Šedina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Woodhall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Pavel Hanka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ty Hislop. When the referee ended the match the Czech Republic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
