A collision led to Hahay getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Leonard Gardocki hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Candido Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Walery Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sem Titulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Meta Noia quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonard Gardocki, made in the 32nd minute of the game. Sem Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Tamulewicz in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Candido Urbes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Sem Titulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Jataiense Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Hahay's Espen Granerud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Urbes in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Hahay's Arkadiusz Walec was substituted for Walery Roman. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkadiusz Walec to strike the kick off in the second half. Candido Urbes might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Espen Granerud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Urbes ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Iwo Rykaczewski in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jataiense Futebol Clube's 忠 杨明勇. Espen Granerud made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Candido Urbes sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Candido Urbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candido Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Candido Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Candido Urbes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Espen Granerud made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Jataiense Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Tamulewicz came free, but Sem Titulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Pipo Inzaghi was substituted for Candido Urbes. Hahay's Feliks Rykaczewski was substituted for Videl Pando. A sloppy throw-in by Leonard Gardocki in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Jataiense Futebol Clube's Jardel Tande. In the 97th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Gardocki to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Pipo Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Granerud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Gong Cheng Yao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Espen Granerud quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Jataiense Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jataiense Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
