Rhesos Theodoratos's late challenge caught a FC WAWER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rhesos Theodoratos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Rhesos Theodoratos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 5 played minutes Rostyslav Leonenko shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues to catch but Rostyslav Leonenko was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Hugo Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Jandryca, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Baladi Asenjo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Marian Italia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC WAWER's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rostyslav Leonenko in the 18th minute. Rostyslav Leonenko made a great header on FC WAWER's corner, it was just that Meninos De Cotia's Hugo Rodrigues managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Jandryca in the 20th minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Italia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Hugo Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Italia in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, FC WAWER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Marian Italia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute FC WAWER were awarded a corner. Rostyslav Leonenko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC WAWER's Rostyslav Leonenko to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Rodrigues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Italia in the 37th minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Hugo Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Italia in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Meninos De Cotia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paolo Maldini hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Marian Italia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC WAWER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Meninos De Cotia's Henrique Borges was substituted for Faustin Ostermann. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zenon Jandryca scored 0-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Rodrigues, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After taking down the ball on FC WAWER's corner Rostyslav Leonenko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Rodrigues quite easily take care of the ball. FC WAWER's Severo Damario was substituted for Adam Zakrzewski. FC WAWER's Fatih Özbay was substituted for Zenon Jandryca. FC WAWER were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Meninos De Cotia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rostyslav Leonenko took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Barnaba Karanewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Rodrigues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Fatih Özbay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Rodrigues was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Meninos De Cotia defense, Fatih Özbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. The Meninos De Cotia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Rodrigues should have stopped the shot. Meninos De Cotia's attentive Leonel Antunes managed to snatch the ball when Barnaba Karanewski made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Meninos De Cotia were furious when Oséias Quirino was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Hugo Rodrigues was a little too slow when Fatih Özbay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-6. 89 minutes into the match, Fatih Özbay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Rodrigues. Meninos De Cotia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih Özbay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Hugo Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fatih Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Henrique Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC WAWER played a much better game than Meninos De Cotia and deserved their victory. The Meninos De Cotia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
