Tigres UANL's Eusebiu Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Mangueira in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Benigno Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Efraim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Omiros Salpiggidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

66 minutes into the game, Amadeo Egoi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebiu Tender. Amadeo Egoi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 0-2 became the score in the 71st minute when Amadeo Egoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Eusebiu Tender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Egoi in the 74th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cacharí AFC's Amadeo Egoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eusebiu Tender. That made the score 0-3 after 75 minutes of play. Rogelio Maju kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Eusebiu Tender made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Basílio Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. Amadeo Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tigres UANL defense, Basílio Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusebiu Tender. The Tigres UANL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusebiu Tender should have stopped the shot. Basílio Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eusebiu Tender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
